Background: The use of computers among students is now a necessary, especially for medical both study and entertainment. This situation can increase the risk Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). (CVS) bunch symptoms on eye vision-related problems by prolonged (such as tablets, e-readers, smartphones, etc.).
 Objective: aimed to find out representation CVS experienced in Medical Faculty Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan.
 Methods: an observational descriptive with cross sectional design. subjects were 270 Medan, was elected total sampling technique due inclusion exclusion criteria. instrument this questionnaire consist 30 questions.
 Results: results showed that most common sensitivity light many 219 people (81.1%), neck back pain 214 (79.3%) strain 210 (77.8%). maximum duration computer Medan >4 hours (90.4%).
